Catching public transport

Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.

Catching a bus

There is a bus stop located next to the school on Flora Street.

Catching a train

Our nearest train station is Sutherland.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones (our drop off zone is located on Merton Street)
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school

Riding your bike or scooter

We encourage all families to consider riding or scootering to school as a mode of transport. The school has bike and scooter racks available for students to safely store their bikes/scooters for the day.

As part of keeping students safe, Sutherland Public School has Wheeled Devices Guidelines, where parents can provide permission for their child to ride to and from school. Students need to return page 2 of the guidelines to the office. If you require a printed copy, please contact the office.
